State Baseball Championship Game
1974 | Salt Lake City, UT
We lost to Bingham High School in the championship even though they didn't have Bruce Hardy playing. (Bruce was a 3-sport All-American who appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated). It was double elimination and we had beaten them Saturday night when Bruce did play. But Bruce had to leave Sunday to go play football for Frank Kush at Arizona State. They beat us in the championship game on Monday.
