The Family of Joseph and Adalaide Dashnau

From a newspaper clipping, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dashnau of East First Street in Oswego had a New Year's party with 55 members of their family. At this time they have been married 48 years and have 5 sons and 4 daughters,27 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. The sons are Lawrence, Harold, Sidney, Arthur and George.Daughters are Mrs. Thomas Driscoll ( Alice ),Mrs. Robert Carr (Addie, twin sister of my grandmother Ada), Mrs. Frank Begley(Ada), and Mrs. John Penderleith (Eva).

   "  The condition of George W. and Sidney J Dashnau, who were injured in a motor accident Sunday, is slightly imporved today although they are considered by the attending physician, Dr. James E. Mansfied, as still being in a very serious condition.

My mother, Alice Begley, dau of Ada Dashnau, often spoke of her Uncles and Aunts (children of Joseph Dashnau).And some of them I knew when I was a small child. But my mother never spoke of, and I never heard of, " Uncle George". All I know about him is the newspaper clipping about his being seriously injured in motor accident (see other story above). Does anyone know if he survived this accident or succumbed to his injuries? I know Sidney survived.
